Welcome to Chockablock Media TV and as per usual it is lovely to have you here.
You make the marketing world a better place!
If you have ever wondered about the value a video view has, I explain it all in the video below:
A video view on Youtube etc in my opinion doesn’t have any innate, or intrinsic value.
The value it holds, is in the possibility of the relationship it can spark.
A view of one of your awesome videos is the beginning of a conversation. It is a connection, or a spark of a relationship between you and your customers, clients and fans. Every view creates potential and potential for engagement.
A HUGE part of that value is what your viewer “does” after they watch your video. Your ROI (return on investment) is based on whether your audience has done what you’ve asked them to do. Have they clicked to subscribe, have they watched another vid, did they purchase some merch or sign up for your program?
Did you flipping succeed in increasing brand awareness? Looking at your video view count in relation to your ROI metrics is key.
Always focus on creating authentic branded video content. You want a long-term lifetime relationship with your customers and fans in order to meet your marketing goals.
Don’t sweat the page views. I’d rather have 40 views on a video than 400, 000 if those 40 people shared my content, commented, and bought my latest program.
BTW:
If you missed Episode 3 where I give you the deal on when to shoot a video yourself and when to hire a professional…here’s the link:
I am so honoured you are here. I want you to use video to make more money, move more products, raise more funds and help more people! Looking forward to sharing more info next week.
Take good care and have fun,
Allyson

Allyson, thank you for such an interesting, informative, ENTERTAINING video series. Thank you for sharing your smarts with that mischievous sense of humour of yours that makes me actually remember all the great stuff I’m learning from you. Now I want to run right out there, grab a camera and start making videos so that a bunch of new relationships can begin. High five, sister!
