Welcome to Chockablock Media TV and it is so lovely to have you here.
This week’s vlog is all about your “Why” video and what ingredients it needs to be effective. Humans are bombarded by the stories, images, smells and sounds of marketing all day every day (unless we unplug and get out into nature!) so as adept video marketers, we know that standing out and being seen is crucial. Press the play button below and I’ll tell you the five ingredients your “Why” video needs in order to be awesomely effective:
Your “Why” video explains:
- You
- Your passion
- Problem you solve
Ideal running length: 1 – 1 ½ mins max
Place your “Why” video above the fold on your homepage. Don’t make people search for it because they won’t!
What to say in your script:
- Intro yourself
- State what problem are you solving
- Where does your passion come from? Tell the story!
- Explain 3 key benefits to choosing to solve the problem with you. Use stories to illustrate examples. Make it real and relatable for your potential customers.
- End with a clear call to action (click this button, call this number etc…be specific) What can your ideal customer physically do, now that they love you? Script example: “If you want to stop doing “X” and start doing “Y” click on the big blue button just below this video screen and let’s get started”.
BTW: If you missed Episode 1 where I explained the types of video you need on your website go here:
I am so honoured you are here and I look forward to sharing more info next week.
Take good care and have fun,
